Enlightening Session with Chairman sir
Students and staff at DPS HRIT Campus recently had the privilege of engaging in an enlightening session with
our esteemed Chairman, Dr. Anil Aggarwal, MD Mrs. Vaishali Aggarwal, and Principal, Mrs. Nandini Shekhar.
This interactive gathering provided a platform for sharing experiences and insights. Students posed thoughtful,
knowledge-based questions, enriching the exchange and fostering deeper understanding among participants.

Independence Day has great importance in every citizen’s life. This day reminds us, every
year that freedom is sacred, and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be
endangered.
DPS HRIT Campus feels privileged and honoured to celebrate Independence Week from
August 9 ,2023 to August 14,2023 (AZADI ka AMRIT MAHOTSAVA) . Prabhatferi was
taken out by the students of classes 3rd to 12th to honour those who have sacrificed their
lives for the sake of the country. Various competitions like Veer Gatha ,poster making ,
brochure making and stories of freedom struggle were organised to revive the feelings of
patriotism in the students.
The young patriots interpreted various connotations of freedom and depicted the same
through action song, theatrical and dance performances which set the nationalistic mood for
the day.
The spirit of freedom by our forefathers, was celebrated with a lot of zeal and patriotic
sentiments. Our respected Principal ma'am Ms Nandini Shekhar also told about the
importance of independence, the struggle behind it and also discussed the various schemes
launched by the government of India to empower the citizens.A sense of pride and
happiness could be seen on the faces of one and all present there.

जवानों के लिए डी०पी०एस० एच०आर०आई०टी० कैंपस के छात्रों ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर "
एक चिट्ठी जवानों के नाम" प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेते हुए सैनिकों को धन्यवाद देते हुए उन्हें पत्र
लिखें जिसमें देश के वीर जवानों के नाम लिखी चिट्ठियों में उन्होंने जवानों को देश की रक्षा के लिए
धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया और अपने मन के भागों को शब्दों में पिरोते हुए बेमिसाल भावनाएं व्यक्त की
साथ ही व्यक्त किए अपने देशभक्ति के जज्बात और सैन्य बल में शामिल होने की भावनाएं।

The irony on the growing population
India is the land of rivers which we have made it dirty, why are you making this heaven of nature a hell? Population like the mouth of sursa, will destroy the forests, how the animal and birds are scattered in search of sleep? On the occasion of population day, class five students organized a beautiful prayer meeting in the school where they enlightened their colleagues by providing beautiful prayers and good thoughts along with important information about the growing population

Freedom is the way God intended us,it is something we are born with and no one can take it away from us!
To celebrate the 75 glorious years of India’s Independence DPS HRIT CAMPUS was charged up in full zeal and zest. An atmosphere of patriotism adorned the whole environment since early morning .
On this patriotic occasion the tricolour was hoisted by our most eminent and honourable Chairman Dr.Anil Agarwal Sir in the presence of respected Vice- Chairman Mr.Anjul Agarwal Sir,amiable Managing Director,Ms.Vaishali Agarwal Ma’am and our most vivacious Principal, Ms.Nandini Shekhar Ma’am.Both Chairman Sir and Principal Ma’am educated and motivated the students to learn from the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and soar to achieve greater heights..
A scintillating skit on the sacrifices made by Bhagat Singh and his group was put up,which brought back many emotional memories!
There was a Patriotic Songs Inter-House Competition too.Students presented beautiful dance performances to glorify the occassion. It was indeed a true tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to attain freedom!
The program ended with kite flying by the students with great enthusiasm. JAI HIND.

Amidst the rich harvest, across the lush greenery , wishing you all a *HAPPY BAISAKHI *
The students of classes VI - VIII presented a special assembly on Baisakhi.
As Baisakhi marks the celebration of a good harvest after toiling in the fields for the whole year round by the farmer and now enjoying the fruits of his hardwork.The energetic and enthralling bhangra put up by the students filled the air with joy.
Baisakhi also marks the anniversary of the starting of the ‘Khalsa Panth’. Shabads from the pious Gurbani were recited by the students.
This day is also commemorated as the birth anniversary of ‘The father of our constitution’-*Baba Saheb Ambedkar*.The students threw light on his great works , thereby learning a lesson from his life.
Most respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nandini Shekhar addressed the students encouraging them for their performances and also guiding them to be disciplined and focused ,to be able to achieve their goals.

Today the festival of Lohri & Makar Sankranti was celebrated with enthusiasm by the senior school students.There were some very informative ppt presentations, telling us the relevance and importance of the festivals all over India-Bihu in Assam, Pongal in Tamilnadu,Khichi in U.P.& Maghi in Punjab.
The students presented some melodious foot- tapping songs and to pep-up the fervour of Lohri more spice was added to the festivities by an enthralling dance performance by students of classes 6- 11.

On the occasion of ARMY DAY , the students payed their homage and saluted the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the country with hear rendering poems.
Our pragmatic,efficient and most affectionate Principal Mrs.Nandini Shekhar Ma’am wished all students and guided them to follow the right path of good values to be able to brighten up their future.
DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION
“India is known as a land of festivals and celebration, Dussehra is one of them which is unique in its perception and significance.”
Festivals are the period of celebration and bring peace and joy for everyone. They are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and traditions. To enhance that among our students, Delhi Public School HRIT Campus organized assembly for Dussehra celebration.
The assembly commenced with Ram Bhajan which the primary students sang melodiously. The teachers presented a mini-Ramayana for the students, through a puppet show that conveyed the message of victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and reinforced the message that good always triumphs over evil. Keeping the festive spirit alive, the students presented the famous Dandiya Dance and paid their tribute to the nine goddesses through a spectacular dance performance.
The assembly was graced by the presence of our honourable MD ma’am and our revered Principal ma’am. They blessed the students, while inspiring them to follow the path of truth and the values of honesty, respect, humility and obedience, which are the core of our Indian epic, Ramayana.
To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt along with which students promised to shun one evil habit each they have with it.
All the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the celebration. The celebration not only enriched their learning but also made it memorable for our students which will be cherished for a long time.
World Postal Day Celebration
“On World Post Day, we recognize the invaluable contributions of postal workers to our societies and economies. The vast postal network – involving millions of workers moving billions of pieces of mail through hundreds of thousands of post offices – is woven into our societies, connecting communities the world over. ”
To mark the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union *World Post Day* was celebrated in our school through a special assembly conducted by the students of Class VII, to make the students aware of the history and importance of Postal Services. The students enacted the roles of-Inland letter, Stamp, Post-card, Envelope and Telegram .There was a beautiful poem on the ‘Post- Man’ and a dance performance.
Our respected and gregarious Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Nandini Shekhar graced the assembly and shared how nostalgic she felt, as all her childhood memories got revived. She appreciated the participation and presentation of the students as it was a knowledgable assembly.
