We begin the school day with a prayer. Each day at DPS HRIT starts with a firm commitment to do our best for the school and ourselves. The morning assembly is a platform to express our thoughts, feelings and display our talents. Special Assemblies are also conducted to give our children an opportunity to exchange ideas and views about different aspects of their daily lives as well as the world around them.
Each House presents the assembly on rotational basis giving all students a chance to showcase their talents. Assembly is followed by classes and a snack break in between. During the course of the day, many activities are planned as a part of academics as well as beyond academics including competitions, excursions, celebrations etc.
DPS HRIT curriculum is based upon a 40 – lesson week schedule according to the following timings (Monday to Friday):
